Never before has
it been more important to have a well balanced furnace design
capable of providing optimal performance at the lowest possible
cost. Fedmet has available proven products for every furnace,
slag, or practice. PINNACLE® magnesia-carbon brick for sidewalls
have one hundred percent electrically-fused magnesite with
additions of high-purity graphite, and metallic antioxidants as
needed. Stainless steel manufacturers may find increased
performance from any one of our range of DURACHROME®
magnesia-chrome brick (direct-, semi re-, or fully re-bonded)
made from one hundred percent virgin raw material. Furnace
bottoms can be custom-tailored to fit the operation using one or
a combination of the alpine sinter-based Jehearth products.

Cost-effective
burned magnesite brick are available for sub-hearth and stadium
applications with or without pitch impregnation. Castables are
also available for anything from pre-cast delta and runner
shapes to one-piece breast and stadium inserts. Fedmet offers
these engineered furnace products individually or as part of our
ACE program of full-service and turn-key linings. Once started,
Fedmet commits its resources to balancing the lining for the
least possible amount of spent refractory and the lowest
