Fedmet Resources has been importing electrodes into North America for the past 10 years. The experience gained from this has given us valuable insight into what the imported electrode market has to offer.

Working only with ISO9000 certified plants that have quality control programs in place, Fedmet electrodes undergo rigorous testing and quality control procedures to assure that they are in compliance with the IEC239 and NEMA standards. We follow these same standards for all our machining, including nipples and sockets. These steps assure a consistent quality electrode for our customers.

Fedmet found a way to improve our electrodes by being the first company to export USA petroleum based needle coke, the preferred feedstock for the production of electrodes, to our qualified electrode manufacturers for use in the production of electrodes “exclusively”for Fedmet. Consequently, Fedmet stands alone as the only company that offers imported electrodes manufactured from USA top grade petroleum needle coke.

In addition to this product offering, Fedmet also supplies unitrode configurations, as well as various other configurations for all industries requiring graphite products. We also have the capability to machine and remachine graphite pieces, as well as offer ancillary equipment and products to our customers.
